Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Calima Workforce Solutions Pty Ltd (ABN 54 687 086 666), trading as Plintha(“Plintha”, “we”, “us” or “our”), collects, uses, discloses and protects your personal information when you use our website and property-analysis service (the “Service”). We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). Even where an exemption might apply to us, we choose to follow the APPs as a baseline.
By using the Service you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. What personal information we collect
- Account information— your email address, and, if you sign in with Google, your name and profile picture. We use passwordless sign-in (Google or a one-time email “magic link”); we do not collect or store passwords.
- Property & analysis information — the property addresses, listing details, prices, figures, and any documents or images you submit for analysis, together with the analyses, scores and verdicts we generate and that you save (for example, in your Deal Vault).
- Payment information — if and when paid plans go live, payments are handled by a third-party payment processor. We do not store your full card number; we may retain limited records such as plan, amount, and transaction references.
- Technical & usage information — IP address, device and browser type, pages visited, actions taken, timestamps, approximate location derived from IP, and counters we use to enforce usage limits and prevent abuse.
2. How we collect it
We collect information directly from you when you sign up, enter property details, upload documents, or contact us; automatically as you use the Service (including via cookies and similar technologies); and from third parties such as Google when you choose to sign in with them.
3. Why we collect and use it
- To provide the Service — authenticate you, run analyses, and save your results.
- To operate, secure, maintain and improve the Service, including preventing abuse and applying fair-use limits.
- To communicate with you about your account, security, and changes to the Service.
- With your consent, to send you product updates or marketing (you can opt out at any time).
- To comply with our legal obligations and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the Service securely. We may use limited, privacy-respecting analytics to understand how the Service is used. You can control cookies through your browser, but disabling essential cookies may stop you from signing in.
5. Automated processing and AI
Plintha generates analyses, scores and verdicts using automated systems, including third-party artificial-intelligence models, applied to the information you provide and to public reference data. These outputs are general information only and are not decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you. You remain responsible for any decision you make. See our Terms of Service for the full disclaimer.
6. Who we share your information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Service, under contracts that require them to protect it, including:
- Supabase — database hosting and authentication.
- Vercel — application and website hosting.
- Anthropic — AI models used to generate analyses.
- Upstash — rate-limiting and abuse prevention.
- Google — optional sign-in.
- A third-party payment processor and an email-delivery provider (where applicable).
- Law-enforcement or regulators where required or permitted by law; and a buyer or successor in the event of a business sale or restructure.
7. Overseas disclosure (APP 8)
Some of our service providers store or process personal information outside Australia — principally in the United States, and potentially other countries where those providers operate data centres or edge infrastructure. Before disclosing information overseas we take steps that are reasonable in the circumstances to ensure recipients handle it consistently with the APPs, and we remain accountable for that information. By using the Service, you acknowledge these overseas disclosures.
8. How we keep it secure
We use measures appropriate to the risk, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), database-level access controls and row-level security, restricted administrative access, passwordless authentication, and reputable infrastructure providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information and to respond promptly to any incident.
9. How long we keep it
We keep your personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service (for example, your saved analyses are retained according to your plan). We keep some information longer where required for legal, accounting, security or dispute-resolution purposes. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it. You can ask us to delete your account and associated personal information at any time.
10. Accessing and correcting your information
You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete. Contact us at hello@plintha.com.au. We will respond within a reasonable time and may need to verify your identity first. If we decline a request, we will explain why.
11. Marketing and your choices
We will only send you marketing communications where permitted under the Spam Act 2003 (Cth) — generally with your consent or in relation to your account. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time by contacting us. Account, security and service messages are not marketing and may still be sent.
12. Making a complaint
If you have a privacy concern or complaint, please contact us first at hello@plintha.com.au so we can try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
13. Children
The Service is intended for adults (18+) and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
14. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and change the “Last updated” date above. Material changes may be notified to you directly.
